11am - noon CEST

In June, we continue our tour of the EuroHPC supercomputers! Benedikt von St. Vieth and Andreas Herten of FZJ have kindly agreed to present JUPITER.

The installation of JUPITER, the first Exascale system in Europe, is scheduled to begin soon. The system features two modules, JUPITER Booster and JUPITER Cluster. The Booster utilizes about 24,000 NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchips to break the exascale barrier, while the JUPITER Cluster deploys thousands of SiPearl Rhea1 CPUs for well-balanced workloads. An important feature of JUPITER is its energy efficiency – the JUPITER development system JEDI just entered the Green500 at first place.

The talk will introduce the system and design decisions, and focus on the user enablement currently ongoing.
