We have invited the EUMaster4HPC team to present the interaction between companies and their students, such as the internship programme. Collaborating with EUMaster4HPC students may be an opportunity for your organisation to advance your projects – and discover future leaders in high-performance computing!

EUMaster4HPC has been experimenting for two years a European programme participating to the diffusion of a high level HPC and HPDA training in Europe. We will give a snapshot of the actions performed as part of this programme: internships, workshops, challenges. To illustrate, we will propose testimonies.

Stéphane Labbé is Full Professor at Sorbonne Université since 2020. Member of LJLL (Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions), he is specialized in modeling and simulations and in particular, nowadays, he is involved in the mathematical understanding and simulation of ferromagnetism phenomenas and sea ice dynamic. In the framework of these two subjects, he developed with his teams two high performance software, one for micromagnetic simulations and one for sea ice dynamic simulation, exploited by several laboratories and industries. Moreover, he is General Director of SUMMIT, a Service Unit of Sorbonne Université, in charge of building collaborations between industry and researchers and participating to the innovation process of the University.
