SC24 BoF: Are we doing the right thing? The European and US ecosystems on best practices in meeting the variety of industrial requirements in accessing HPC resources

Abstract
The needs of industrial users are special in that they are characterised by the diversity of their pricing, access timing, security, licensing, and data management requirements.
ETP4HPC of Europe and HPC4EI of the US are in the process of collecting the characteristics of such needs, together with best practices in meeting them.
This BoF aims at sharing the European and US expertise and juxtaposing it against the experiences of other industrial users, service providers, and access programs.
The two organisations will produce a public repository of best practices that will be available on the website of ETP4HPC.
