From 18 to 21 March, the ETP4HPC team was in Antwerp for the EuroHPC Summit, along with many of our members. We’ve created a short video to share some images of the event with you all. The Summit gathered a record number of attendees, kudos to the EuroHPC organising team for the outstanding venue and logistics!
As sponsors of the networking drinks on Wednesday evening, the chairs of the three EuroHPC private members – including Jean-Pierre Panziera, the ETP4HPC chair – talked in a plenary session. ETP4HPC was proud to actively contribute to the contents of the Summit, as a member of the Programme Committee. We organised two sessions:
- How Does One Define an “Energy Efficient” HPC System? From Data to Action – a lively session moderated by Andreas Wierse from Sicos
- Destination Earth and our work towards the Strategic Technology Agenda for DestinE: Destination Earth: Challenges of Implementing Digital Twins on EuroHPC HPC Systems – moderated by Michael Malms, ETP4HPC
And session Co-Designing the Future of European HPC: Eco-friendly Technologies, Systems and Software was set up by our SRA leader Sai Narasimhamurthy – by all accounts it was an interesting presentation of the outcomes of 10 on-going or finishing EuroHPC projects.
