The ETP4HPC team was visibly present at SC19. See our photo album of the event!
The new flavour of our BoF was unanimously appreciated: instead of presenting European and international updates, this event saw an extremely dynamic discussion on the endless (Sisyphean) task of adapting applications to the ever-changing heterogeneous architectures. Speakers and panelists from Europe and overseas were present to analyse this phenomenon.
Jean-Philippe Nominé, a key contributor of the ETP4HPC office, was invited to present the results of the HPC cPPP (now replaced by EuroHPC JU) on the Prace booth: “Four years of HPC Public Private Partnership in Europe: elements of impact assessment“.
Finally, 38 of our members were exhibiting at SC19, and we highlighted this through a very successful social media campaign. We had the pleasure to meet many other members who attended the event, for example Constelcom was invited to present their solution on the Prace booth, and LINKS was present on the Lexis project booth, to name a few.
