The HPC community converged again to Frankfurt last June for ISC! ETP4HPC had increased its presence , with a larger booth that hosted 4 of our SME members. ETP4HPC members Asetek, ConstelCom, Iceotope and Maguay Computers each had their own little corner on our booth, providing an opportunity to exhibit their solutions – and network with ISC attendees and other ETP4HPC members.
The meeting corner was much appreciated and used by our staff and our 4 co-exhibitors for impromptu meetings.
Besides the exhibition, ETP4HPC was involved in two sessions:
- Office member Marcin Ostasz was invited in the BoF “Personalised Medicine and the HPC Industry” organised by CompBioMed, the Center of Excellence in computational biomedicine.
- Our Energy Efficiency Working Group held a BoF on “Building Energy Efficient HPC Systems”.
We also held two side events:
- a Steering Board meeting just before the conference started, and
- a private workshop dedicated to the preparation of our Strategic Research Agenda 4 with all our experts – just after the close of the conference.
