This was the EuroHPC Summit Week 2019

The EuroHPC Summit Week in Poznan closed a week ago, after several days of intense networking . The entire week was organised by PRACE, EXDCI-2 and ETP4HPC, and hosted by PRACE’s Polish Member, the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC). More than 360 participants joined plenary sessions, parallel sessions, workshop and discussions.

Here is our selection of pictures from the event – if you were there, we’re sure you’ll enjoy remembering the best moments of EHPCSW, and if you missed EHPCSW, you’ll certainly have fun recognizing many familiar faces.

ETP4HPC was involved in many public sessions and private meetings organised around EHPCSW:

  • EuroHPC RIAG meeting
  • Our chairman Jean-Pierre Panziera chaired the second part of the Opening Plenary session
  • HPC Ecosystem Summit, a meeting for all stakeholders in the HPC Ecosystem to help to clarify the future roles of each actor in the field
  • EuroHPC BoF, open to all to understand the EuroHPC Infrastructure and Research & Innovation pillars
  • The HPC Ecosystem Workshop included an open session on the SRA presented by our SRA expert Michael Malms
  • The HPC Ecosystem Workshop “What to expect from upstream technologies” was organised by our former chair Jean-François Lavignon
  • An SRA 4 workshop (private ) took place just after the close of the conference
