Our collaboration with the Big Data Value Association has materialized with this first White Paper entitled ” The Technology Stacks of High Performance Computing and Big Data Computing: What they can learn from each other“. This document feeds the discussion regarding current strengths and differences between the (software and hardware) stacks of BDC and HPC, and how the current strengths of one stack may address a shortcoming/need in the other stack.
